This coffee comes from a small village called Durame in the Kembata region of Ethiopia. Much like our previous Ethiopian offerings, this coffee is full of fruit flavors reminiscent of strawberries and blueberries. Nevertheless, the small community in Durame grows their coffee bushes high up in the mountains of Ethiopia around 2100 masl. The fertile soil here allows this specific coffee to create complex sugars and acids within its seeds. Underneath the obvious fruit notes, we taste orange peel, brown sugar, ripe honeysuckle, and a slight memory of butter browning in a pan.
