This coffee comes from the Tracon Trading washing station in Sidamo, located in the Uraga district of Ethiopia’s Guji Zone. Sitting at elevations between 1900–2200 masl, the station collects cherries from over 500 smallholder farmers, most of whom cultivate less than 2 hectares of land. This washed Ethiopian offering maintains the same level of sweetness as previous Ethiopian offerings all the while taking us on an altogether different journey. That journey starts off sweet like honey, peaches, and berries, maintaining a similar body to that of a naturally processed Ethiopian coffee. Our journey's end is reminsicent of tangerines with a floral finish. This is best served as a pour-over with a splash of milk, milk alternative, or half-and-half.
