Coffee growing in Carmo de Minas has been the business of the Pereira family since 1979, and it hasn’t always been easy. The Pereira family was forced to adapt to the terroir of Fazenda and issues posed by climate change. Since making several changes to their agricultural practices, the coffees from Santa Ines have stood out in regional and national contests, producing a well-rounded, chocolate and fruit-forward cup of coffee.
